Shango Galleries, John Buxton, Dallas, TX, USA
Shango Galleries was founded in 1976 as the Tribal fine art extension of Bahraini Chest, which was an import shop offering crafts from the Middle east and Africa. Shango quickly developed into a source for fine African, Precolumbian, American Indian, and Oceanic art working with collectors, museums, and other dealers. Having placed objects in major museum and private collections Shango enjoys an excellent reputation and is considered to be a well-established gallery in the ethnographic field.

Barrister's Gallery, New Orleans, LA, USA
'Yes, as you may have already guessed, Barrister's ain't your ordinary art gallery. Once inside, you begin to suspect that you'll never, ever see all of it, no matter how much time you spend wandering through the 8,790 square foot space. Andy arranges his gallery in a random-looking but secretly kinky-structured assemblage that makes sense only if you know the subject matter or have a good sense of humor. "
